no cell service?

last night around 10:30pm EST I could not send out any texts!  Still this morning, no sending!  Is koodo down?

To resolve your connectivity issue, please try the

Make sure airplane mode was not turned on by
accident. If it is not, then continue reading!

Turn the phone off; Remove the SIM card from the
device as well as the battery (if the phone has a removable battery). Let it
sit for a few minutes and then re-assemble the device, power it on and see if
it works. If not, continue reading!

Verify your phone’s APN settings by using the
following Koodo website’s information:
 If it is still not working for you, keep

Verify if the phone has any available updates,
sometimes there might be a bug that causes this kind of issue that is fixed in
an update. If it is still not working, keep reading!

This step is one of the less favourable steps
and it is a factory reset on the device. Doing a factory reset can help resolve
little glitches that the phone may have now. Doing this though will result in
you loosing all data on your phone, except any data on an external memory card
(with the exception of apps, apps will be lost regardless where they are
stored). Hopefully, after a factory reset your device will work. If it is not,
move on to the next step.

At this point you are going to want to contact
Koodo for further troubleshooting steps that surpass our expertise here on the
Koodo community, they may try to get you to try another SIM card or be able to
send your phone to get repaired (if it is still under warranty with no obvious
accidental damage, it will most likely be free. If it is not under warranty,
they will send it off and you will get a quote which you can choose to refuse
and not be charged for anything.). To contact Koodo at this point, do not use
your mobile phone, use a different phone using the number: 1-866-995-6636

I have the exact same issue. Unable to send texts since late last night. Thinking maybe Koodo is having an issue.

it seems to have resolved itself.  Must have been on koodo's end.  Glad to have cell service back.  Seemed to be only affecting outgoing messaging.

Koodo has definitely some problems on coverage. Every day, about dusk and during the night, the cellphone bars on my device go down to one or disappear all together. So, no phone service, although I live in an area that is supposed to be abundantly covered by 4G/LTE. I reported this problem on this same site andI got an interim answer from a Koodo employee. The thread then faded out and disappeared from the site. Shyness or what? The problem is still on and unresolved.

- Buildings and other structures that can be barriers to wireless signals. Other materials used in construction may cause wireless signals to be reflected.

- Interference from other radio signals: Other wireless networks and wireless transmissions, such as television and radio signals, may occasionally interfere with the mobile phone network.

Thank you, Tayeb. I will call the Tech Support because I do not want to spend my time sitting in my vehicle (where I have a signal amplifier) just to make a couple of phone calls.
