Just got a warning that I am over half way thru my data for the month. However, when I go into my cellular info to see how I spent that data, it only show that i have spend a quarter of data. Help!

Hi Joyce,

Always trust the Koodo counter. The one on your phone might not be properly configured so that it resets on the proper day of your billing cycle.

Any chance you can tell me where I am going wrong? I have never used so much data so early in my billing cycle.

You can look through Settings > Cellular to determine which apps have consumed data, as suggested by Paul. Once you have gathered that info, the group can offer more suggestions.

Yes, thanks - I have done that. I am wondering why my cellular settings are seriously out of wack with what Koodo is telling me my usage is to date.

With iPhones, your data counter isn't tied to your billing cycle (i.e. you have to reset it manually at the beginning of each cycle - I suggest setting a calendar reminder if you want to use this counter).

Under your cellular settings, check to see if you have Wi-Fi Assist enabled. This feature has your phone use cellular data when your Wi-Fi signal gets poor and may eat up a significant chunk of your data allowance and cause overages.
