I recently upgraded from Samsung Galaxy Ace to LG Nexus 4 .. my problem is with the picture messaging .. I dont have a lot of data so i let the picture message come in first, and then press the download button after I turn the data on... however, this doesnt happen with my new phone .. there isnt any indication thatthere is a new picture message and it will only come in if i send myself a picture... is there something wrong? shouldnt there at least be an indication of a picture message so i know when to turn my data on? it seems rather inconvenient

Go into the settings in your messaging app and unchecked the auto download box under mms. Now it will give you that notification then you can turn on your data and then hit the download notification and recieve the mms
