Another case of glass defect in Nexus 5:

Same. Mine has a hairline crack across the bottom right corner from carrying in my front pocket walking around the Sydney zoo. Never dropped. Kids have never even touched it yet since I don't have a screen protector yet. Easily the most fragile phone I have owned :(

Wow, you guys are really mean. Does Koodo know the people they pay behave like this?
I'm still hoping Koodo has some folks that will be willing to work out a deal. Hoping its not any of these fine humans posting on this board.

Doubt a deal can be made considering how the warranties work. The reason it escalated like this is because of the numerous posts about the issue. We all had enough. We get it. Your screen broke and you expect Koodo to cover the damages. You are blaming Koodo who does NOT make the phones, then you go on a tirade about how crappy the phone is directing the cause being Koodo. You only need one post, otherwise you are trolling or spamming. Both of which are against the guidlines. Wether Koodo knows or not is up to them to address the issue to the users. We are custoemrs like yourself. At this point, you will have to wait to hear from Koodo or however this apparent deal will be made. It is very unlikely it will be much considering the physical damage issue. Valid points were given as to the care of the phone. Warranties only cover software issue, not liquid/physical damages UNLESS that screen scracked as the rep was setting it up. That is not the case so the warranty is not valid in this case. There are extreme circumstances to deal with an issue like this so I guess you will have to see if something happens.

Not a single person who has responded to any of the multiple identical threads you have posted is being paid to post here. If you want a private negotiation with Koodo then call or email them. If you choose to air your dirty laundry on a public forum you are inviting people to offer their opinions.

I've dropped my NEW nexus phone multiple times now and it doesn't have a case and the glass has not cracked. So clearly, something more is happening than what is being stated.

Regardless, it's been already mentioned physical damage is not covered by warranty.

Koodo doesn't pay us to comment on the community. We are all customers/volunteers who devote some of our time to help other people out. There ARE some Koodo employees who do look over the community and post replies, but 99% of the people here are non-employees,

But please, keep trolling, It'll just ensure your removal all that much sooner ^_^

Scott, I think that people are just getting tired of the same story. Have you contacted LG yet? They are the one that make the phone.

If I was shot in the chest, while hunting and the bullet got logged in the phone, would El Tabador visit me in the hospital?
