I have a Nexus 4 and my company is buying me an Iphone to go onto my plan. How do I make the switch over? Do I cancel my existing plan or can I just get a new SIM and keep my number.

You just get a new sim card and transfer your service to it for free using self-serve. Easy peasy.

Your number and plan stay the same.

Using self-serve
Self serve > Mobile Phone > Swap Mobile Phone
Step 1 : "Upgrade my current phone"
Step 2 : "Does the new phone you're upgrading to use a SIM card?"
Select "yes", and enter a new sim # then continue

Yes, just as Chad said, you switch your sim card and keep the same number and plan and that will avoid any cancellation fees.
