The Nexus 6p & 5x are available at Koodo ONLINE ONLY. Tried to buy it online on the Tab Plus, but Tab Plus activations are only available in-store even though it says on the website that the phone is “Available Online Only”.

Went to the store and they told me they can’t do anything about this because they don’t carry the phone so they can’t activate it or order it for me.

To summerize:

Nexus 6p & 5x are available ONLINE ONLY. Can’t purchase online due to Tab Plus only available IN-STORE. Store does not carry phone since it’s ONLINE ONLY.

This is a problem. Hopefully Koodo will sort this out.

Ooh. That is broken. That sucks.

However, it's still available with the regular Tab online. You'll have to put more upfront but you may end up saving money over 24 months doing it that way anyway.

Hey JellyDonut! We did realize that this was a problem and removed the Tab Plus option for online purchases of these devices. We apologize for the inconvenience that this could have caused.

They're forcing you to take the discount, but in doing so you also have to switch to a tab plus plan which costs more money.

They will recuperate the cost of the activation credit by charging you more on a tab plus plan.

Well, we aren't forcing anyone really. :-) If someone is happy to pay for the phone up front then there is no need to take a TAB plus plan.

If the idea of the tab charge is to pay off the phone in 2 years, why do we have to get a tab plus plan? Why not just make us pay the tab charge equivalent to the value of the phone minus the tab contribution divided by 24 months?

The tab plus plan is significantly more expensive, and you're not getting much for it ($35 tab plan = 300mb, 300min; $54 tab plus plan = 500mb, 200min).

PS. The updated site has made the pricing less transparent since it hides the original cost of the phone, activation credits, and tab contribution. Before it was easy to see how you got to the final price.

I completely agree! the new layout makes things less transparent. This is despicable behaviour from koodo.

It was never a secret that the Tab Plus plans were more expensive.

If you want a higher subsidy up front, you're going to pay more for your plan. It's as simple as that and the same way with every carrier. No one is trying to hide anything

Hey Anna, you might want to change your advertising for the Nexus 5x online then, because its shown as a $0 phone on the tab plus on your website. Only changes once you sign in and go to order the phone.

Hi to all members, I've just rooted my handset and would prefer custom rom instead of using stock firmware. I've got a list (Roms for Nexus 6P) but I'm not sure which one would be best of them! Please suggest best!!

This isn't the best place for that kind of discussion. You may want to try XDA forums.
