New user trying to sign up for self serve, but can't figure out my own mobile number?

1. I just received my phone from koodo, there is very minimal info with my phone, and this is the dumbest thing ever but I don't know how to find my mobile number. I thought I would create an account and see it online but it's asking for my phone number to login... help please?

2. Also I have just inserted the sim card and battery, the phone is working but it says emergency calls only, do I have to call koodo to activate, I know they charge fees for phonecalls and I don't want to get dinged for no reason :)

If you ordered your phone online then you probably don't have an account yet and you need to activate. Which can't currently be done online due to fraud prevention reasons.

I recommend calling Koodo at 1-866-995-6636 and choosing option 6 to speak with a customer service rep.

You have to call to set up an account and get your phone # when you set up your account. Going to self serve is getting ahead of yourself as you don't even have an account to use through self serve.

I'll reply here so hopefully you see this:

I have no home phone, which is why I ordered a cell, so I guess i have to call from a payphone then? Is there no way to do it through my phone? Will I be charged for the call?

If you're calling 1-866-995-6636 you shouldn't be charged as it's a 1-800 number, therefore it's toll free.
