Can I get a new Koodo phone and still keep my current grandfathered contract?

I have a $32/month contract from a limited time offer a year ago. This offer is no longer offered by Koodo. However, I was able to keep the contract. If I want to get a new Koodo phone, maybe the Nexus 5, can I keep my current grandfathered contract?

As long as you stay with the medium tab! You'll get $300 off the phone (assuming if your tab is at $0). My 2 cents is you might want to purchasing the Nexus 5 at google playstore for $350. or the 32GB at $400. Keep in mind a $5 tab charge will apply.

Things are changing as far as the way upgrades go with the tab. Starting the 17th everywhere you will have your remaining tab balance go onto your next bill if you want to upgrade and use the tab. The way in store you will be paying whatever the prices on the price tags are. No more math for the stores or customer to do. Because Math=No fun.

Yes you can. You won't qualify for a Tab Large, though but can get the Tab S or Tab M

Koodo = NO contracts.

You can keep your plan. If you use the tab to get a new phone, do not use the Tab Large as you would have to change your plan. Tab Medium should allow your plan to stay since you would need to have a plan that is $30 or more.

It's not a fixed-term contract, but it's still a contract. The only way to be contract free is by avoiding the Tab altogether.
