Hey there Sabrina!
if you want something for texting i recommend the blackberry q5 you can get it on the tab medium for $0 choose any of the promo plans we have avaliable and its will only be $5 tab charge for 24 months and then once the phone is paid for then the $5 tab charge will go away and you can uprgade the phone at anytime
the good thing about the blakcberry is that its perfect people who dont do much on phones.
k thank you!!

Keep in mind, with upgrading your phone at any time, you are required to pay out the remainder of your negative tab balance.

Most of the phones are touchscreen with internet capabilities. Look at Koodo's website for a list of their phones.

Moto G it's great for everything, has awesome battery life & is only $150 outright or $0 on the small tab. If you've never used a smartphone your probably best to get a touchscreen keyboard now and get use to it because physical keyboards will become extinct as soon a BlackBerry is gone.
If you do get any Android device such as the Moto G download a keyboard from the PlayStore called "SwiftKey" it will help you type faster with no errors once it learns your typing style, just make sure to take the 5 minutes to set it up to learn from your SMS (texts messages) so it can better predict the words you use regularly.
thanx, I will keep that in mind!

I have to second Paul, Sabrina. Motto G would be good fit, based on your requirements, inexpensive and texting. It's $150.00 and may still come with Bonus Gifts that may vary, depending on where you purchase. If your credit history is good, you can put the Motto G on a small Koodo Tab. Get some different opinions here and when your ready, head down to a Koodo Dealer and check them out.
awesome thanx!
