Hi Ginger,

The new plans are available to existing customers. You simply have to pay off your current tab balance (if any) and contact Koodo over the phone (*611 from your mobile phone) or visit one of their retail locations.

Hope this helps!

I agree, it's not fair. I upgrade my phone 2 weeks ago and nobody told me about the promotion. I went yesterday to the store and they said to me: " you can still have the new plans but you need to paid your tab first".  I am a customer for 4 years!!!

As I said, the plan is available to you. If you really want it, pay off your tab and get the plan. It's not something that is beyond your reach. It's just like anything, the employees probably did not know much of the changes until the pamphlets showed up a few days before. I find it is quite fair, and you have a way around it. No reason for you to complain about it, you have a solution.

The problem is that loyal customers are treated no better that new customers, and arguably, worse. Koodo is terrible about communicating upcoming changes, perhaps deliberately. When I bought my S3, I paid $300 on the tab. A few weeks later, it was $150. The customer service rep at the kiosk told me these phones don't get any cheaper. This was probably the rep's experience but I still got ripped off by Koodo and this change adds salt to the wound.

If one of existing customer went to a store to upgrade her/his phone today, s/he won't get a tab contribution from Koodo. You have to pay 100% on your phone.
Say if people used Tab M($300) befor new system is out, you will pay $5/mo instead of $12.5/mo

If existing customer goes to store to upgrade phone: 1: pay off your negative tab if you have one, and put new phone on either Sim only (pay full pop for it), Tab (upto $360) or Tap Plus. You can keep your existing rate plan if you want, BUT, if you're going with Tab Plus on new phone, you need to take a Tab Plus.

I know that.
I didn't explain well on my comment(again) above.what I meant was...
Some existing customer were complaining about they can't get a new great plan because they just upgraded their phone. (Only way to get a new plan is to pay off your tab.)
But, that means they could have the benefit of using old tab system and receive Koodo"s contribution.
If you are on the new system, you will pay 100% upfront to get a new phone, pay up to $15/mo with tab or up to $21/mo with tab plus.
So if you upgraded your phone before the new system starts it's not all bad. That what I wanted say.

k but if they're still in the money back guarantee they can get an exchange on it on it on new tab.
