I recently moved into a ground level, newly renovated suite of a house (not a basement) and my cell signal is almost non-existent. The cell gets perfect reception outside the home - does koodo offer free femtocells or signal boosters to correct this problem. I have friends one 3 different competing networks that have great signal in my place - just wondering if koodo will address this issue before I cancel service.

No, Koodo does not offer free signal boosters or even signal boosters at all. Koodo isn't going to put up a tower beside where you live or anything of the sort if that's what you're asking

Unfortunately carriers can't be responsible for indoor reception, as the building materials or its location can interfere with signals.

It's interesting that these competing providers get signal but you don't, as Telus generally shares towers with Bell (except out west), and Bell owns Virgin, so really the only variable is Rogers/Fido here.

Maybe it's a coincidence and you just need a new SIM?
