New Phone/SIM Card - Emergency Calls Only

I just received my new phone (LG G6) along with a new SIM card since the old one will not fit. I've had my new phone turned on with the SIM card inside for approximately 2 and a half hours now, and it still says I'm only able to make emergency calls. Meanwhile, my old phone (LG G4) is still working and I'm able to make calls out of it. I have factory reset my old phone, and I've restarted the G6 twice and taken out the SIM/Micro SD card slot out twice. The new phone acknowledges both my SIM card and MicroSD card being in there, but it will not let me connect to a network.

 Also, before I submitted this, I had both phones turned off completely for a half hour.


Any help would be appreciated.

hi Sacha,
You would need to contact Koodo directly (send message to Koodo Facebook/Twitter or call) to switch SIM (old --> new) as the old SIM didn't fit into the G6.
I would suggest you send message to their Facebook to avoid the wait on phone.

You may need to call Koodo and have them activate the new card. If they activated it when they shipped it you'd be without a phone until thr new one came
