My partner has a 45$ plan that's no longer available he's got 2gb and unlimited talk and text no clue how he got it. Anyways he wants to buy a new phone and he's wondering if he has to stick with android or can buy any phone outright for example blackberry and keep his plan. Or are their different plans for different phones.... I'm also thinking of switching to different phone type will this affect my plan if so we don't want to change phones that badly.

He can keep his plan as long as he doesn't go on Tab L. He doesn't even have to buy the phone outright. He can take tab M or tab S if he wants!

His $45 plan qualifies him for Tab S & Tab M.

You need a plan of at least $30 to qualify for tab M.

Tab L require a Tab L plan which has horrible value. You end up paying more for your phone over 2 years. Do not get the Tab L please
