Was the Network down or something this evening (April 12th from around 6:00pm to 9:30pm)??

it kept telling me that there is "No Service" on my iPhone ... i couldn't call and/or text. I restarted the network a few times (Setting > Reset > Reset Network setting) but still No Service.

It only worked when I had Enable 3G on (which had been off for the past year and it has been working fine all along).

That's wierd. The phone will only work on 3G, HSPA, 4G, lte because Koodo does not use 2G. Make sure to have your 3G on at all times because your phone will not work. You probably meant your Data?

I am on the iPhone as well, network never went down for me. As Erwin pointed out make sure 3G is enabled, it's not necessary to have that off. Especially since iPhone has a specific option to turn their data off to strictly work on wifi.

It was odd because Enable 3G has been remained off for the last year+ (since i got the phone) and it has been working fine all along ... until yesterday!!

Well, I have only switched over to koodo (from Telus) recently but it's also a month now and it's been working fine until last night

Oh well

Rogers is the only company in Canada that actually maintains a 2G (gsm) network. If 3G is indeed off on the phone it won't work on koodo, bell, telus or virgin. Perhaps the phone just realized what position the switch was in?

I have galaxy s2x sometimes mine will cut in and out, but never completely off. I have come to believe certain weather conditions is the issue.
