Hi I am living in Winnipeg basement area this basement area is of concrete. Want to take new koodo plan with cell phone so want to know that how does koodo have network in concrete basement area does it completely goes off or it looses tower frequency???
I have taken FIDO company's sim card to work in my home town 2 G phone. But unfortunately when i enter to my apartment area basement where i m living suddenly network goes off completely. I want to sign up with koodo but not if they doesnt give proper network in my basement area the reason if somebody or employer calls me for a job due to network insuficiency i could be not reachable. thats the issue.

Pls help me so that i can get a practical idea...

You may not be able to get a strong signal there regardless of the provider.

My advice is to try it out and simply return the phone within 15 days for a refund if you're unsatisfied with the reception.

It's hit or miss. In my basement in St. Vital it was ok. At my friend's place in Lindenwoods it was not very good

I never had zero reception in my basement expect for certain spots. However there is no gaurantee. My experiences were basements in houses which may be different than apartments.

I would do what Ivan suggested above and test it out
There is a 15 day return policy

Since you're living in a basement you may want to consider purchasing a repeater from Wilson (a leader in radio technology)
