Phone plan is under my name and my teenage son is responsible for payment. I want to suspend service because he has not paid me. If I suspend as a "lost phone" how quickly can I reactivate?

Immediately after you reactivate it. Keep in mind your still billed for it like regular even if you suspend the phone, so if he's not going to pay you ever than your best to close the account or it will just keep accumulating a higher and higher bill that you will be responsible for.

You should be able to reactivate just as quickly. Good for you for taking action, though! I had a line under my name for my cousin and he would usually go over on data and pay me late. I felt bad if I disconnected it because he needed it for work. Luckily he switched to prepaid and now he can deal with it himself...
