My daughter gave me her Iphone 5s to replace my Iphone 4. I want to keep my present Koodoo plan. My SIM card does not fit her newer phone. I am willing to buy a new SIM card but want to be guaranteed that I can keep my old plan. Any advice on how to make this happen???

You would need a new SIM card and transfer the old SIM to the new one. I would visit a Koodo Kiosk or wowmobile, bestbuy to buy a new SIM and ask the agent there to do it for you.

Thanks, I plan to visit Best Buy tomorrow. My concern is that I want to keep my old plan. It's a great inexpensive plan. Do you think I can keep my plan?

Yes, of course. SIM change is just a simple technical thing. It is not an update of the plan.

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm a senior and obviously not too tech savvy. I greatly appreciate your help!

You are welcome, relating to the SIM change, Koodo has temporarily disabled the function in selfserve as of now. So you would need someone either at bestbuy or koodo kiosk to do it for you. If not, you might have to call Koodo once you get home and ask them to do it (after you bought the new SIM)

You can keep your old phone as a back up phone.
New SIM card is tricut( 3 size in one), so keep the card/piece in safe place. Then you can go back to 4 if anything happened to 5S.

I've done this a few weeks ago.

You can keep your plan don't worry..

Think of it like this.. All your information is in an online database.. your plan.. details etc..

But the sim card is what directs it to your phone so you can use those features.

All you need to do is get a new SIM card, get it activated And you are Done.

Once it's activated Your phone number and all your plan details Associated with that Koodo Number will be on that new SIM card.

Either go to a Koodo Kiosk Or you can call in with An Active Koodo Phone at 611

Best of Luck to you!
