Your text message area is full as in your phone is out of space? I've heard good things about this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... for backing up texts after which you can delete texts off your phone. But if your phone is out of space it will be more effective to delete apps or pics and vids after backing them up to your pc.

What type of phone do you have?

I assume it's most likely not a smartphone if you can't store any more texts. If that's the case it's likely not possible to back them up, but the only way we'll know for sure is if you let us know what model you have.

I have a samsung. Right, not a smart phone.
I have deleted all text and pics and have no apps already.
I will check the link from daniel- thank you. :) (too late tonight tho)
I just want the easiest way to be able to delete what is on my phone, but save it somewhere (on my PC).
Thank you!

Daniel's idea is if you have an Android phone (a smartphone), since you said you don't it won't be much help for you.

While not certain, I'm 95% sure you won't be able to back up the texts to your computer or anywhere else unfortunately.

You might be able to transfer those texts to your PC via PC studio which is a samsung program for managing personal data, etc. I'm not sure if it's compatible with non-smartphones but it's worth a try. If you already deleted your texts and pics it might be too late however :(
