My phone suddenly thinks I'm on the Telus network? Maybe?

Hey, so I just recently downloaded the recent upgrade for the Blackberry Z10 (10.1.0.4181).
A few problems have come up, but visiting various blackberry specific forums I found they are common problems.
One strange thing has happened though, that I haven't seen anywhere else. It appears to think I'm no longer on the Kodoo network, but on TELUS.
It still says kodoo when I go to the Network Connection settings, but when I click the APN button it says sp.telus.com
It doesn't give me any way to change it either (the screen is locked).
Other things that make it seem like its telus. Now when I send emails it says "Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the TELUS network" as opposed to previously saying 'on the Kodoo network'.
It also downloaded the Telus account manager app during the upgrade as well.

It may be an update specific problem, but maybe not. Any help? Does your guys APN say telus too, or is it just me post the update. Or I'm I over emphasizing the APN thing, as I'm not such a technology wiz.

Koodo is owned by and uses Telus network so no big deal. As long as the devices is functioning normally you're fine.

Well, I'm not sure this is connected, again I'm a bit of a noob with technology, but since the update yesterday I have been having trouble with getting a network connection.

I regularly get the symbol that means Emergency calls only and have no bars, despite being in an area that I know is not a dead zone. I also have been unable to get 4LTE or even H+ for data since this update. :/

I'm not sure if this is something that contacting Kodoo might help or not?

I also understand that Kodoo and telus are affiliated, but why would it automatically download a Telus account manager when I don't have an account with telus, along with attaching it to emails and stuff?

If you did the whole upgrade while connected to wifi that could be the reason it thinks you're a Telus customer /speculation

Hmm, that might be it. Strange, as it said it was too big to do over data, but at least that makes sense, thanks. I'll try to do what you said to fix the network/data stuff.

Well that's different,
First remove the battery and sim card for about 2 minutes
Next reinstall both and allow the phone to power up

Now go to settings and make sure your networking page looks like mine

If not

Backup your data using the BlackBerry Link software

Then perform a factory reset on your device (this will erase everything)

After the Security Wipe, the APN switched back to koodo and I have my data and cellular service back! Woohoo!
