I have the Samsung Note 2. A nice phone.
I'm wondering why my Koodo voice mail service is delayed. People phone and I miss their call but if they leave a message, it's not usually available until later on in the day. This can create an awkward situation.

Hi frananddave,

This is an odd situation indeed. What kind of reception do you have when the issue happens? Have you tried turning the phone off, removing the SIM card and battery?

No reception issues. Happens all the time. I have removed the battery but the Sim card is presenting difficulties. Not like my last phone where it just slid out.Would like some help here. Perhaps iI'll post another question!

Delayed texts and calls going straight to voicemail are not unheard of with some of these phones.

Do a search for Note 2 in the Search Topics box at the top right of this page.

Check you other post for how to remove/replace the SIM.

Good luck.

Yes I did check but the delayed voice mail seemed unique. Thanks. Now that I can remove the SIM card... perhaps it's fixed. But we shall see...

I shall test it tomorrow from another phone. I did try sending myself a message and it had arrived in voice mail before I ended the call so that is very hopeful indeed. I also discovered that I can call voice mail by calling my own number - something I was not previously aware of. :)

Yeah. And you can even listen to your VM from another phone by dialing * when the VM starts, Then you will be prompted with your PIN code

Have a nice day!
I missed work because of the same reason. I work on-call and they called me twice and voice mail came up about 20 hours later! And when I called Koodo, he said I sent out a lot of texts the day before as well , which I didn't because I don't text. The agent I spoke with called me back 4 times and it only rang to my # twice!. Anybody know what to do?
