My Plan does not reflect the offer I accepted to switch from PublicMobile, just switched yesterday, when will it be modified

The offer was for IGB data, unlimited minutes, and texts US/Cda for $30 if I swwitched.  I spoke with an agent before I switched and she assured me my Plan would reflect the offer once I accpted and now that I have, since the online Plans did not reflect my offer details (they were less, 500Mb and not unlimited texts, for instance)

Should show up pretty much right away. Do you not see that in your plan details in self-serve ? If not then you can send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to ask about it and ge fit sorted out.

Goran, and all of you other "Masters"...your advice is "shit".  Literally.  The facebook messenger with Koodo is not only Not Secure, it is manned by scam artists, one of which whom implored me to buy a $100 Amazon card and send it to them.  I am not making this up....  I have the whole course of the messenger convo.  So, next time you think you want to help by suggesting Facebook messenger, DON'T !!!

Alan,

I hope you contact them through the correct page. https://www.facebook.com/Koodo/
Myself and other contacted them without any scam/spam at all. If you had some issues with scam, it could be from your PC/phone. I would double check your device.

If you had some issues with facebook then just call them (611 from your handset)

Alan I'd be curious to see the conversation to see who you were actually talking to.
The direct link for facebook is https://m.me/Koodo

Alan,
That wasn't the correct facebook. Their correct facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/Koodo/ . I will report the other page to Koodo.

You could follow Allan link above to send message to Koodo.

Alan,
I assumed you switched online. Have you entered the promotion code correctly when you checked out? If you didn't then you would only see in-market plans for everyone.

Yes I used the correct Promo code, as I did it online with a Koodo agent (I wrote down her name but of course she declined to provide me with any ID No.) on the phone at the time.  She said it would be sorted right after I completed the switch (done uesterday online) .  I will take Goran's advice, and message them, I guess.  Wish me luck.  Thanks.

Ok, good luck. If possible, you can take a snapshot of your promo text, and send it through a facebook message. It will help to consolidate your case.

The other important thing to look for when interacting with brands on Facebook is the verified checkmark on the profile.  If you hover over it, you see this little pop up message, which is important to look for:

Looking at the "101" profile, it's not verified.  Also, it's showing an outdated mascot and logo, both of which are other good clues you're not looking at the genuine article:

@Alan sorry it looks like you were phished.  Hopefully you didn't give them much personal information :(

It was et up so well, especially for a new customer who is unacquainted with Koodo.  Why the hell does Koodo let this Facebook group keep the Koodo name up and active?   What the crap are they thinking?  Morons.  No password from me of course, just frustrated that I wasted my valuable time with the whole cluster-F$#k.

Some clues:
- Old images. El Tabador bowed out a few years ago; Choose Happy is current styling.
- Has only 33 followers.
- Contains no posts promoting Koodo services, and no discussion.
- Has photos of European plugs
- Has addressed envelope in a photo of an address in India

Remember, ANYONE can create a Facebook page. It is not in Koodo’s power to remove it. That is up to Facebook, should they choose to take down the page.

Remember, it is Koodo's business reputation and customers' privacy at risk, so Koodo must instruct their lawyers to demand that facebook forthwith remove the offending and misleading account, and take legal action thereafter in the case of Facebook neglecting or refusing to take the account within a reasonable period of time.

I'm sure that Koodo' legal team is well acquainted and will do what it can.
