My phone I ordered online was "unable to be delivered"

I even went through the hassle of changing my billing address to my work so that it would get sent to work and I would be there to sign for the phone when it was delivered. If anyone has ever tried to order online you can't have a seperate billing and shipping address. WHen you get to the last payment page it does give an option for a different billing address.. so I set my account to my work address, and then input my address for the billing.. But my email showed both billing and shipping as my work address. Nonetheless, my account was debited for my purchase and tracking showed it was on route to my work address. Great. It worked, awesome.

Now I've waited and waited and nothing. Then I see in my email through the tracking that it was "unable to be delivered" and was returned to sender. How is this even possible?

I do not get this. Why can't I go pick up the phone in a store? Why can't I say "no signature required"?? As I'm sure you know people have to work, and who is going to be home to sign for a package.. So I try to get it sent to my work, I even followed Canada Posts EXACT format just to be sure, but still no delivery? Its almost like no attempt was even made. I doubt anyone at work would be like "oh theres no one here" and I doubt the postie would be like "well thats not a residential address, MUST BE WRONG LETS JUST RETURN IT." I mean hell, even if I wasn't around to sign for the package shouldnt the postie leave a tag telling me what office to go pick my package up at?

I have no idea what to do. I try to call and I sit on hold for what feels like hours listening to a horribly static radio station. This is so incredibly frustrating to the point I just want my damn money back.

Hi Glen, I would look to Canada Post for the error as I know from experience they lie about attempting delivery all the time. Twice they claimed they attempted delivery not knowing I have video cameras on my house pointed right at the front door and checked the entire footage and at no time did anyone from Canada post come to my door and attempt delivery. I called at complained but nothing was done because then the second time occurred in the same fashion.

It sucks Koodo has to deal with Canada Post because they're the worst delivery service available.

Unfourtunatley I don't know what we can do when dealing with a 3rd party delivery service but I can tell you it's Canada post you should be frustrated with.

"A signature is required for every delivery unless you specify otherwise in your shipping instructions."
So you can specify otherwise and have it shipped to your house.

They (or yourself) may have entered the shipping address incorrectly. If they truly attempted delivery to your valid work address, they would have left a note and it would be held at the nearest post office.

They only time they return to sender is if the address is invalid (house number doesn't exist, etc). Perhaps the Koodo Webstore typo'd when they filled out the shipping label.
