My less than 6 month old Note 2 is dieing. Can Koodo help?

I purchased a Note 2 from Koodo around September 2014. I have had great service other than an issue I had with pre authorized payments but that has been resolved. My Note 2 had started getting really hot recently just under normal usage, (Browser or Facebook running) but I constantly close my apps and never have more than 1 active app running at a time. as a result my battery now after being fully charged lasts for less than 12 hours with power saver mode on. My phone now gets so hot it could actually burn you if you touch it in certain spots. Looking to upgrade to a new phone for a new 2 year contract. is there anyway I can get some sort of a credit towards my current Tab to do the upgrade? I have been offered port in credits from Bell, with the LG G3 for $0, but I do enjoy the service I get with Koodo and don't necessarily want to change, but the bottom line is money.

Your main issue is with the battery. Still under warranty... take it back to a boutique. Round up any other issues you have have with the phone (dropped calls, txt not received) and catalogue them. Koodo will replace/repair. Keep your paperwork.

There have been several marathon posts about Note II problems. Just do a search. Someone with unusual problems reported getting a $100 credit eventually on an upgrade, so issues are not unknown.

I've had one for over a year and am very satisfied (used it with Koodo, unlocked it, and used US supplier as well). I also bought a spare battery since I use the Note II as my music player as well.

But don't dilly, dally.

LG 3 has wifi issues, supposedly solved, but I would wait till Fall when Note II warranty runs out before taking a plunge.
