My international text messages stopped delivering to people a few days ago - How do I fix this?

I signed up for Koodo two weeks ago and was so happy to discover I could send texts home to Ireland under the prepaid $15 bundle, until a few days ago when they stopped delivering. My Canadian texts are still delivering, and I can still make calls internationally - It's just the texts that aren't working!

Are you able to receive?

Have you tried to pull the battery and sim for a few mins and trying again?

Are the phone numbers entered fully with the international country code and everything? http://help.koodomobile.com/plans-add...

I am able to receive international texts.

I tried taking out the battery and sim a few times.

And the numbers are entered correctly... :(

I suggest to send a text to your own number to check if you can send and receive messages. Feel free to call our Tech Support by dialing 1-866-995-6636 free of charge from a landline.

Our hours of operation are:
Monday – Friday: 9am - 9pm
Saturday: 9am - 7pm
Sunday: 9am - 7pm

A Representative will look into this.

Did the person your trying to message possibly change which carrier they are with? If they changed they may have gone to a carrier that doesn't accept messages from Koodo. You can see all the details if you choose Ireland in the drop down in this link.

I called tech support and they said it's a problem on the other end and the messages were showing up as being delivered on their servers, but I don't understand how it could be. Everyone I've tried to text in Ireland is on a different network so it would have to be a countrywide problem! Anyone have any more ideas? Ye have been very helpful!

Are you using an iphone? It may be an imessage issue.

Maybe get one of your most understanding Ireland friends and have them troubleshoot to with their carrier to see.

It is always easy for carriers to blame each other. If you trouble shoot on the Ireland end maybe it will make Koodo dig a little more deeper into the situation

Oh one of my texts just got through (but only one so far; the others haven't got through yet!) The tech guy said he would update some of the settings but that it definitely wasn't a problem on Koodo's end! I'll keep trying.

(I'm using an old blackberry!)

So now one irish number seems to be getting texts, but the other irish numbers aren't getting texts and now calls aren't even working to those numbers either. It definitely seems like Koodo fixed something when I called earlier but only one thing! This is so frustrating!!

Narrow it down as much as you can (ex. which irish carrier, etc)

Then try to call Koodo tech support back to investigate again
