My daughter is travelling to France and England shortly. She has an iPhone 6. We will be getting the Koodo txt15 plan for 75 outgoing texts and unlimited incoming texts. What settings do we have to have so that we do not incur additional charges. Do we turn data off, or do we have to keep it in airplane mode? We don't want to have roaming charges but we want her to be able to send and receive texts.

If data is turned off and she doesnt make any calls or exceed her texting limit than she will be just fine! Data should not be useable anyways if you dont have the international data roaming add-on but keep it off just in case.

You may need to add the International Voice Roaming add-on to be able to text while abroad as well if you dont have this already.

If she has any other iDevices, they may need to be turned off so she does indeed recieve any messages sent to her.

Do not use airplane mode as this will prevent her from sending and receiving texts.
