I'm currently on a plan exclusively to residents of SK. ($48/month, 5GB). If I move to BC and want to get a BC phone number, will I be forced into switching to a new monthly plan?

Yes. If you move to BC, you'll have to switch to a plan thats offered in BC.

that's not true. Michael, you can stay with your plan as long as  you want.  People in Toronto are all switching to the MB SK plan.

The thread below will help you out.

Ijcy, dont bump old threads in order to promote fraud.

He can't chane his phone number or address without it forcing him off of the plan so actually what I said is completely true. If he was just visiting and didn't need to change any information that would be different. As you've been told before, accounts are regularly being auditied now and you'll be forced off the plan if you're not supposed to be on it.

did you take a read in the forum? "And Koodo has been letting it go on for a bit, despite the amount of people that have been doing it (since the old $55 plan). It was even in the news a month ago on CBC. Yet the ability for us to sign up remains. They'd be stupid to stop it and lose customers over it" I don't see accounts being audited at all
