Can you give me the exact model # of the Moto Z Play on the Koodo website? I want to be sure of what I'm getting.

Unfortunately, I can't find that information. But, Telus (Koodo's parent company) carries the same model of the phone and their website has more detailed technical specs:

Hope that helps.

Model # xt1635-02. It's "-01" for Verizon Droid, it's "-03" for Chinese CDMA, but "-02" for everywhere else including Koodo.

Ok so according to phonemore.com, the -01 is a single SIM, and the -02 and -03 are dual SIM.
But it seems (according to another question I asked) that the Moto Z Play shipped by Koodo is a single SIM model. Hmm, I'm confused

The Moto Z shipped by Koodo is single SIM. I would expect the Moto Z Play is as well, for all the reasons discussed in the threads on this topic.

The SIM tray also holds the SD memory card

The Moto Z Play with Koodo is indeed the -02 model. On Amazon it says this phone is indeed dual SIM https://www.amazon.ca/MOTO-PLAY-32GB-5-5-International/dp/B01MDMJGYT/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie... . By the sounds of it appear to be dual unless Koodo has some fancy way of disabling it or something along those lines.
