I purchased the refurbished moto x play yesterday, the receipt that was sent to my email said I bought a moto x sport. Is this a mistake in the order? I have looked for differences and can't find anything online. What's the difference?

I haven't received it yet. It was advertised as a x play, but the receipt says x sport.that's all I know at this point

IIRC the sport is what the play is called in the US. They should be the exact same.

That's correct. The Pure/Style is not sold in Canada.

Actually the Moto X Play is called the Moto X force in the US, the sport was possibly an internal name and what the force was rumoured to be called but never was released under that name. That said if you bought the oh one from Koodo then it is indeed the Moto X Play like Chad stated, it's the only Moto X Koodo has ever carried.

The Force, according to gsmarena is a recently released Moto x version with a 5.4" QHD screen and a Snapdragon 810.

My bad, it's the Droid maxx 2 that is the US model of the Moto X Play and sold by verizon only, the force is the one with the shatterproof display your right.

And a 4 year warranty for the screen. I'm kind of jelly. Hoping it gets expanded to the new X lineup.
