Full charge this morning left work at 6 am did some browsing internet listing to the fm radio since 730 am untill 11am battery is at 73% now if I was to play games it would probably be in 50%/so how can they say this phone can go untill 1.5 days before charge

That sound pretty good actually. 1.5 days is average use. Playing games or using the radio are more demanding tasks so it will drain it more.

Games can drain a battery no matter how good it is. 27% drain in 5 hours with moderate use sounds pretty good to me. A 1.5 day battery life means ~24hr use in reality. Doesn't look like you're that far off.

Buy a higher amperage charger from Amazon, like 2.1A or more.

Will it over heat the battery. Can I use a old motorola flip phone charger

No it won't overheat it if it's a proper brand like Aukey or Anker.

A flip phone charger would be worse because flip phones have much smaller batteries and the associated charger would be a lower output as well.

I used my wife's tablet charger by mistake. Charged my Motto 3 from 15% up to 91% in 20min.
If I turn phone off, 20min is full charge.
I've used it ever since in the house.
For truck I purchased a dual charger and use the 2.1 for my phone, 1.5 for my wife's phone, when we travel.
