Koodo does not take trade ins.
You could try selling /trade for equal value on Kijiji.

Interesting, because I asked about trading in Motto G1 when I purchased the MottoG3 and told, its not worth anything and best to sell on kijiji.
And that was either July or August past.
Thus my response to your Motto G1 question.

If you answer was based on that, you'd say the Moto G 1st Gen has no trade-in value as opposed to saying Koodo doesn't do trade-ins at all. Two completely different statements.

To Robert though: The Moto G is worth like nothing now. You'd be lucky to even get $20. I wouldn't be surprised if whay Steve said about being told there's no trade-in value is true.

Yes that's exactly what I thought I typed on first line but that's not what showed up and I apologize .

Historically Koodo trade-in values are garbage either way, I never recommend going through the Koodo trade-in especially with things like Kijiji and eBay, always try to sell the device yourself and if no one at all is bitting then maybe check the Koodo price. I had inquired once about the trade in value of a Galaxy S4, and at the time the S5 hadn't even come out yet and they were giving 80$ when you could easily sell it for ~250-350 yourself.

If your Moto g is still working, I would keep it as a backup phone. Always good to have a backup

I use this as a rough guide for trade in value:

Trade-up ~= throwaway value.

Best to advertise on Kijiji, etc. It may take a few weeks but I have often found buyers for obsolete products (especially electronics) because they ± loved the original experience, which has since crashed, and they don't want to go thru the effort of learning something else all over again.

Buddy best buy is likely to offer $50 on it. Just pop in and ask for trade in
