Not sure if this has been suggested or not. But I think that koodo should think about having Sim cards that both work for one person. IE. My husband runs his own business and is always busy. He works in construction so no phone is ever guaranted safe. The other day we were talking about for a customer that goes through phones a lot and doesn't have time to get new phones without scheduling time off that the kiosk are open to be able to have two working Sim cards so if one breaks he can pick up the extra phone he's bought turn it on and continue on with his day. That or make it that you can just stick your Sim card into another phone and carry on with your day. My husband been a customer with koodo since his first phone and this most definitely would be something him and I are interested in as he always buys an extra phone but still has to find time to go into koodo to get it set up.

You can put your SIM card in another phone and it'll work (providing that it's a compatible phone and the correct SIM card size).

You can have more than one SIM card as well if you're a monthly customer but only one can be active. To change which card is active, you simply log into your self serve and change the number yourself. SIM cards that have been inactive for 90 days cannot be reactivated.

Thanks I'll let my husband know he's been wanting that for awhile and is already on the verge if another new phone. We are not prepaid so that must mean we're monthly.??

I actually have a customer who works in construction as a contractor that comes in and buys out all my prepaid flip phones every couple months. Goes through them like crazy.

He has some spare SIM cards in case he actually loses the phone (he can go in his Telus account and change the SIM manually online, which you can also do on Koodo) but if it breaks (usually the case) he pops his SIM card into the next one and off he goes.

Sounds like a tactic best suited for you guys. Those Telus prepaid flip phones that he buys should work on Koodo too. Roughly $70 at Future Shop.

Same here. I have multiple devices so I keep a list for each phone of the sim card number. That way it's a quick copy and paste into koodo self serve to G et the other phone working. Set a calendar reminder to use the Sims every 60 days for at least 15minutes so they never expire.

Now that's clever. Never thought of force changing them to keep them active.

Gonna remember that one.
