More for seniors

I love Koodo so much I put my 95 year old father on my family plan. I just wish they could offer a more "senior friendly" phone like the Doro or Jethro. The Alcatel has nice big numbers but the screen is small and the flip phone can be difficult for arthritic hands to open. Black on black buttons may look streamlined but are hard for aging eyes to see. Touch screens can be difficult for seniors but voice command with a keypad would be wonderful. As our population ages, more and more boomers like me will be looking for phones for their elderly parents. There's a potential market out there!

You can buy an unlocked one online and use it with Koodo.
Just make sure it runs on the following:
3G HSPA+ 850/1900
4G LTE 1700/2100

Hi Wendy, purchase a large display Android phone like the LG STYLO 3 PLUS Koodo offers and then download a 3rd party Launcher from the PlayStore that gives massive icons and a very simple UI. Below I've linked one of the many available launchers that are great for the elderly. Check out the screen shots in the link to see just how great it is for ease of use

Or show him how to use one button, and say: "Call Wendy."

Voice commands is something that can be quite confusing for the elderly. Paul's option is definitely the easiest one to setup someone with for the first time.
