Have you tried calling Koodo customer care so that they can look into the issue for you?

I have and to avail . They reset both phones SIM cards and still I missed a call from a lawyer only yesterday . The thing is I don't even get notifications of voicemail until a day later . And no call logs are showing for missed calls

Which phone do you have? There have been intermittent reports of this happening with certain older Samsung models, not playing well with the network. A few solutions have been proposed, but a few problems seem to persist.

Seems on other forums it's android based phones Lexus for one and I have had my phone changed from a galaxy 5 to galaxy note 2 to galaxy note 4 and still I get no notifications until a day later . Only voicemail notifications no call logs whatsoever

Of the phones you mention, only the Note II seems to have had any complaints that pop up.

Maybe we are looking at a signal strength issue. I have had similar problems with other carriers in my location because I'm near a dead zone (a valley sandwiched between 2 mountains). It cost me $$$ when I missed a call and only got voicemail the next day, so I sympathize.

See the post below, and maybe it will help.

I am having the same problem with my Iphone. It only started today. I received a call this morning and now I am not.

Android Signal strength:

Bars on the phone are just barely decorations. Download from Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...

or something similar. Gives fairly instanteneous readings for voice and data in -dBm units. As long as you show less than 100 -dBm, you should be able to communicate. If you can send yourself a text and receive it promptly, then the network connection is working.

Even in areas that have good coverage, it’s not uncommon to have dead zones. Stay away from large metallic objects such as wrought iron railings and open any metallic window blinds.

Had a local problem with trees galore at home in a rural area and was able to find a “hot spot” where everything works.

There are sister apps that will do the same for WiFi coverage as well.

Tyhank you I'll try the apps and I'm in a high coverage zone the calls I miss are random so I'm not wondering if it's a Google based phone problem more so than the actual phones being all my phones were android phones

is it with every person who calls?if so, do you have blocking mode or so not disturb turned on?
if not, do you have them in your spam/call rejection or block list?

Hey Theresa,

Is this happening with every call, or just certain ones?

Have you tried turning the phone off, removing the battery and the SIM card, let it sit for a few minutes and reassembling the phone and trying again?

Sure have and also on my 3rd phone that's why I think it's an android /Google thing . Lexus android phones do the same thing . From a previous post I learned this and also that person was with a different provider. So its not a provider issue nor just a Samsung issue . It has to be a Google issue . I have also tried apps that measure my reception which is always excellent . And I also tried another app Flash Blink in hopes that my phone will flash then realized the missed calls go to voicemail so flash blink is pointless.

Are you using some VoIP or internet app to handle some or all of your calls rather than just your native phone connection?

If you've been thru 3 phones, it's probably something to do with the software setup you are using.
