I am trying to access my voicemail, at the recording it says first to select language, next to enter mailbox no. So I enter my phone number and press the star key but the system does not accept this to be my mailbox no. Please let me know what the 'mailbox' no. Here means.

hi aamir,
Your "mailbox" number is your Koodo phone number, the 10 digit one.
Normally the mailbox number was asked if you called from a different line, other than the Koodo line.

Did you call from your phone number? and which voicemail number are you dialing to?

Yes, I dialed from my no. only. Voicemail dialed is 778-580-4001. I'm currently outside Canada so could this problem be due to roaming?

Well, hopefully you have roaming fee covered. If you dial from your phone number, you can just hold 1 or dial your phone number from dial pad.

I'm guessing you recently changed your number? That message generally means that you're connecting to the wrong VM server because the access number in your phone is wrong. Tech support would need to look up the correct number. They can then push it to the sim card, although I generally prefer to update it manually, (pushing it remotely doesn't always work).
