I've had my Nexus 5 phone for about 2.5 years now and was on a phone plan with 300mb limit. A couple months ago I updated my plan to a 2GB limit and now every half hour or so my data will turn off without me knowing and doesn't fix itself unless I reboot my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello Klentir.

Did you set up a data limit on your phone at 300mb? If yes, then you would need to disable it in order for the data to work.

I removed my data limit once I had upgraded my plan. I'm paying nearly double for my phone now than I was a few months ago and in return my phone can only connect to LTE for a few minutes after being restarted

I don't believe it's strictly a Koodo problem as it's never been reported as such before, try rebooting or remove the SIM and then reboot. Not something your going to enjoy but you could try a factory reset, or also double check your APN settings before the factory reset. They can be found by searching in this community for APN settings.

You could also try any of the Nexus forums before resetting as well. If you do decide to factory reset the phone, be sure to make a back up of all things on your phone that you want to keep.
