Hi there!

Reception looks above average  for your guys at Prince Albert... Are you using an Unlocked Device or a Koodo phone?

Have you run a test to see the speeds you get?
i just recently got a 2 year plan with koodo on a galaxy s8 plus on black frida. i have not run speed tests i just noticed my data not working and was curious if anyone else having this issue

Oh Cool!! Enjoy your new phone...

Run a test to see how it goes, also check coverage Map to have an idea about reception you should be getting since definitely out of Town might vary... If issue persists, you can troubleshoot with tech support.

I would suggest you restart your phone & network settings and see if it can help. Also you could come back to a Koodo store and see if they can provide any advice, or call Koodo as Camilo suggested.

One thing I know from personal experience and my families experience is that in some small towns that have great 'coverage' according to coverage maps, the service isn't so great all the time. My mother lives in Denwood, Alberta and lives right in middle of the coverage area but can ONLY get decent reliability from her service when everyome else is sleeping, like between 1am and 7am. This is because although there IS coverage there, companies do not want to invest in many towers in areas where they don't have many customers and thus everyone is forced to share only one or two towers which causes network congestion and slow speeds.

Since they complete a Speed test by uploading and downloading a large enough file to do a calculation, did you really expect less?

Spencer, I work in PA, and live close to Wakaw. I have no speed problems at all.  I would check your APN settings just to make sure they are set correctly.  I remember one time when I got the Note 4 brand new the APN setting were incorrect and I was not able to get LTE, only 4G. As soon as I got the correct settings I was getting LTE speeds
