LTE compatability

Will the NOKIA 6 work on the koodo network? It does not support 1700 band but has 2100 band.  Do I need both 1700 and 2100 for LTE to work?

Yes. Koodo uses Band 4 which is both 1700 and 2100 together.
So if I only have 2100 it own't work? I'm looking at the NOKIA 6
I checked with this compatability checker and it says it's OK.

Well according to that it has Band 4 which is both 1700 and 2100, not just 2100. So the model that you checked above will work just fine with Koodo.
Thank you! I'm just a bit concerned because on GSM arena specs, the NOKIA 6 does not show 1700.  Only 2100.  So I'm wondering if this compatability checker is not accurate.

Yes I noticed that too. I would contact the person you plan on buying from and either ask them for the model number so you can look up the frequencies yourself or ask them what the frequencies are.
Most phones have a variety of different models, North America, Asia, Global, etc, and each one tends to have different frequencies. That's why you're noticing this discrepancy between sites.
I see. Thank you very much for your help! Have a great day!
