Koodo does indeed have some of the friendliest employees & customers that help on the forum which makes being a customer of Koodo an actual joy for those of us that read & understand how Koodo works. The only ppl I see complain are ppl that don't understand how Koodo or cell phone providers in general work.
If you love your Galaxy Ace & your tab is almost paid up then you might want to check out Koodo's Trade up program & trade up to the Galaxy S2x which I guarantee you'll love even more.
Thanks i will check that out !

I'll agree with you, the Galaxy Ace is a decent phone, but I found after a year I started to notice that it just didn't have the power I wanted in it. Kid Android's suggestion to upgrade to the Galaxy S2X is actually something I did just before Christmas and i am not looking back! It's a great phone, on a newer android OS, which I'm sure you're love just as equally or more than the Ace.

The Galaxy S3 is the best phone Koodo carries at the moment & if you can afford it you might even want to look at it. It is pricey though. It will however be supported with the newest Android OS version for much longer, so it's more future proof. The Galaxy S2X though is enough phone for many though & Like I said it's an phone for the price being Samsungs top of the line phone from last year.
How does the upgrade work , i looked it up but i didnt really see much info . I did see that phone samsung galaxy SIIX it looks good

Well, it works out as simply as how you get your first phone, but it will depend on how much you have on your tab as to how much you may or may not pay when upgrading. The reps can let you know that part, but they can also take your old phone for trade-in also (I did this and it helped make the entire upgrade process free, with enough left over to get a screen protector). If you login to the koodo.ca website and check the phone lists, it should show you how much you'd pay with the tab included, so you can see the cost ahead of time.

And in my opinion, it's better cost wise to go for the S2X compared to the S3, all the specs are almost identical in terms of hardware, but the S3 is more expensive

You bring you phone to Koodo and they look at it and give you a value they will give you depending on phone and condition. Then, they give you a trade in value to use towards the new phone plus the bonus $25 if you trade in before the end of this month.
In your case you could trade in for the trade value plus the bonus $25 and use your tab all towards the price of the new phone. You just have to go to a Koodo kiosk.
You have to get the new phone at the time of trade in.

The specs really arnt almost identical especially the 2GB of RAM as opposed to the 1gb in the S2x makes a huge huge difference and so does the type of processor in the phones . The screen is also point 3 of an inch bigger which is alot for a screen and the quality of the screen is much better on the GS3.It isn't even comparable in features, the GS3 has a ton more features and the version of Android it runs makes it not lag at all, everything is much smoother and faster but your paying for it.
Still the S2X is the phone she wants if she's already happy with the GS2X.
