I lost my phone today and I cannot locate it. Is there any way to gps track it or ping it or anything like that. I am in desperate need of my mobile phone and cannot find it anywhere. I can call it and it rings before going to voicemail which I assume is a good sign, but I am still desperate to find it. If any of you have any information that can help me out it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I really don't want to decommission my phone just yet so any other suggestions would be greatly helpful. Thank you!

Koodo does not have any such capabilities & you would of needed to have added an app before the phone was lost. At this point, i recommend you get the phone flagged as lost to prevent anyone else from being able to use it.

Android.com/devicemanager should be automatically active on any android phone running Gingerbread or later. Go to the website, sign in with your gmail account and if your phone is connected to data it should allow you to locate it within a few meters.

Now I'm in trouble, cause Google search does not even recognize the Motto G. Google defaults Motto G to the motto q.

Sorry for the out burst. I thought I had some protection and tested it when I read Amanda's post.

When you sign in device manager shows ALL devices that have been signed in with that gmail account. If the one showing is an S2, click the drop down menu and select the Moto G instead. It works PERFECTLY with my phone.

Amanda which phone do you have? Maybe the Manufacturer website has a web site.

If it was an iPhone you could try using Find my iPhone at iCloud.com
