I lost my iphone, but was out of the country, and had taken out my SIM card. I still have the card. Do I report the loss, or can I put the card into a new phone to keep my old number?

No need to report it if you have the SIM card. You can just put it another phone. You might have to do the 'swap' in self serve on the koodo website though to make it work.

If it is the same sim card I dont think a 'swap' is required. Only if a new sim is being used

Yep! Since you didn't lose the SIM card, you can just put the SIM card in your new phone and a "swap" isn't required since you are still using the same SIM card.

It's unfortunate that you lost your iPhone though!

You should also change any passwords to sensitive accounts like your bank or websites you frequent.
