I am a Koodo customer. But the handset Galaxy S2, is my own. Lost the phone a few days back in a cab. Got a replacement sim but want to block the phone, so that the handset may not be used by any person.  Please help. Thanks

Hi Bratati,

Did you call the cab company back to see if your phone was turned in? You can suspend the phone by logging into your Self Serve account.

Hello Baratati.

Vey sorry for your loss. What Koodo blocks is your SIM card, not your phone. Therefore if the phone wasn't or was with Koodo doesn't change anything about what Koodo can do. They'll block the SIM but the guy can easily put another SIM and use it as his phone!

No, Koodo can and does block the handset as well. They blacklist it for the customer.

Thats if its actually reported as lost/stolen and not just changed sims via self-serve

Hey there,

Ahmad is right! It is possible for us to flag a phone as lost/stolen even if it's not originally purchased from Koodo. Also, you can flag yourself on Self-Serve the phone you are currently using. To flag a previously used phone you would need to contact us. My colleagues will be able to further assist you.

Thanks everyone!
I am trying to contact Koodo and is impossible to actually talk to a person to blacklist my daughters lost phone. I have no idea where to turn to do this!

It is not impossible, all you need to do is follow the voice prompts. I just did it not two minutes ago. There is a wait but you can ask that the system you back once an agent is available.

Or

Login to self serve

Report a phone lost or stolen is there.
