I am a Koodo customer. But the handset Galaxy S2, is my own. Lost the phone a few days back in a cab. Got a replacement sim but want to block the phone, so that the handset may not be used by any person. Please help. Thanks
Vey sorry for your loss. What Koodo blocks is your SIM card, not your phone. Therefore if the phone wasn't or was with Koodo doesn't change anything about what Koodo can do. They'll block the SIM but the guy can easily put another SIM and use it as his phone!
Ahmad is right! It is possible for us to flag a phone as lost/stolen even if it's not originally purchased from Koodo. Also, you can flag yourself on Self-Serve the phone you are currently using. To flag a previously used phone you would need to contact us. My colleagues will be able to further assist you.
