I've lost my phone, and I tried using Find My Phone but my cellular data was off so it couldn't locate it. Is there any way koodo can locate the phone if the data is turned off?

Unfortunately, the phone can't communicate this information without being connected to a cellular network. I guess your only option is to search thoroughly enough until you find it if it's been lost and not stolen.

You should log into self serve and suspend your service until you find your device. http://help.koodomobile.com/lost-or-s...
That's pretty unfortunate. :(
Note: that you will still have to pay for your monthly plan when service is suspended.

this is unfortunate .
we don't have any insurances for these type of devices like USA.
in usa if you lost your phone you call them and they will give you brand new phone without charging you single dime for it ( must have insurance of the phone - which is 6-10 $ a month . you can claim atleast two phones a year which is good. )

as far as i know is the phone you loose in canada gets unlocked easily in a gray market . also can get cloud unlock too .you have to know people who know people though .

Go to your self serve account to report it lost, you can also block your device so no one uses it. If and when you find it, call in to get it unblocked.
