Son lost first phone & SIM card in Dec 2015 New phone & SIM card bought Jan 2016 now that phone is lost but he has found the first phone & SIM card. When I tried to switch over to First SIM card online i got a message that SIM card was in use or invalid -- is there any way to fix this & use the old SIM card & phone?

The SIM card is most likely useless as you already switched his account over to the new sim card. SIMS are only good for 1 account/1 number. You may me able to switch the same account back to the old sim( but would be useless as its already on a SIM)

Oh right you are, I missed that bit. You can just swap over the new SIM card to the old phone, Paula.

You can reactivate your old SIM card if it under 90 days.
Your son's SIM is over 7month old, si that sim is expired.
So, he need a new sim card.

If that was prepaid, it would have long expired.. But you can buy a new prepaid card and set him up with a new account on that phone. Congrats on finding the phone after so long!
