I lost my phone in a foreign country and when I got it back there was no SIM card, I didn't unlocked it since I have another phone to use.
I will go back to Canada on August 23, so I would like to know what is my best choice over here.
I want to keep the phone number, all I needed are my contacts but in order to contact them I need to have access to WhatsApp, but my phone has been factory reset (I recovered contacts) and in order to use WhatsApp I need the verification code sent to my number. Please heelp

All you need to do is buy a new SIM card, activate it in self service and insert it in your phone... you should be set then.

Did you suspend the account so no one can use your sim?

If you did not, please do so ASAP as whoever has your SIM card can rack up a significant roaming charge on your account.
