do you still offer the Apple iphone 4s 8 gb for a 450 tab and 0 Pay? I went to the Koodoo store at the Lambton mall in Sarnia to trade in my LG and get a iPhone 4s and was told they didn't carry them anymore, only the 5's. it was a 1/2 hour drive into town for a phone advertised on your website and I've been looking to upgrade for a while. I'm a bit mad over the whole thing.

Not every customer is approved for the large tab tog et the iphone 4s. Based off what you're saying I assume you weren't approved for the large tab based on your credit rating. I'd contact equifax Canada to get your credit rating looked into.

The 4s I believe isn't in production anymore so once a shop is out, it's out. Best bet is to call the shop ahead of time (you can also goto / call walmart/ mobile shop/ best buy/ future shop) to make sure they have what you want. Other options are buying used from eBay or kijiji.

You can't really blame Koodo for being out of stock when the website doesn't state stock levels. Chad's suggestion to phone ahead is always a good idea.

Just a tidbit of info...

A wireless credit check performed is actually the same for all carriers (they just contact Equifax and see what pops up), but the carrier then determines what they allow you to do. For Koodo, it's not based on phone or Tab level, it's just for service, just like Telus. Bell/Virgin and Rogers/Fido, on the other hand, will have more lenient rules when you pick what they determine to be "low-value" phones, which some credit challenged people use to their advantage to get a phone. Fido will approve almost anyone, to be honest with you... if you get denied on Fido, then you either owe Rogers a lot of money or your credit is absolutely horrible (you just got a mortgage, claimed bankruptcy, or took out OSAP).

If your issue isn't with credit, then what was previously mentioned, you should call ahead to see if they have it in stock. Check The Mobile Shop, too! We have it available.

I highly recommend AGAINST getting the Large Tab for the 4S. You will pay much more money over 24 months for a small $150 savings. I highly recommend getting the Medium Tab, paying the $150, and picking a cheaper plan instead.
