My phone suddenly says it is not connected to a network. How do I reconnect? I have tried switching to different network modes and still no working network. Help!

On Android be sure to go into Settings then select More... Then select Mobile Networks then click Preferred Network Type click on 3G as Koodo doesn't run on 2G.

Another thing to try to reconnect to the network is to go through the steps above but click on Network Operators and let it load up the networks available and select Koodo and it should connect.

One other option if all else fails, if your phone has a removable battery I'd recommend removing the battery and sim card for 30 seconds and put them back in and that should help connect to the network properly.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for your responses.
I have done ALL suggestions above. Still nothing. When I tried to connect to the Koodo network it said, "unable to connect. Try again later"

Any other suggestions?

Where did you get the phone?

At a Koodo kiosk in New Brunswick, Canada.

My only other suggestion is to contact tech support and see if they can try resetting something on their end to see if the network can reconnect. Keep in mind they will more than likely make you do the same thing as what has been suggested before but it's worth a shot.

If you have access to another phone to be able to call in dial 1-866-995-6636 and press option 6 to get in touch with tech support.

Thank you for all your help. I am 5000km+ away from home and it decides to be cranky. It completely sucks!

If you have access to another phone I'd suggest try calling tech support like I mentioned above, that may be the only way to get the phone back up and working.

I took my phone in pieces to The Source. Turns out the tour in my area of the Yukon decided not to work yesterday and I and everyone with non-Bell phones had duds. Good news, just as fast as it all fell apart it came back together. Whew!
Thanks for all the help.

No problem at all, very happy to help. Not the best to find out that the service isn't working for anyone at all, but glad to know that that was the issue and not something with your phone.

Hope that gets fixed soon, definitely sucks not having service.
