Looking for micro sim.

Bought a new phone today. Was thinking I would just come home, get it unlocked, put in my sim card and all is good to go.
Well, my sim card is wrong. Need a micro, but only have regular. So, I was going to order one through Koodo website. I can't find one anywhere on the site. Is it just me, or is that option gone?
Are there any phones that take regular sim cards?
Oh, and when I bought the phone, it slipped my mind to ask, or to see about sim card size, but, was kind of disappointed that the sales man didn't ask me the size of the card.

Just visit your local Koodo kiosk and they will sell you one right there.

Unfortunately, I don't have a local Koodo Kiosk. The closest place I can buy a phone is an hour ago, the closest place where I could get a sim card, is about 10 hours away.

Try eBay, Brian... I have usually had success buying from there.

Yes, make sure it says Prepaid... Usually they get sold for about $6 or so :)

I don't think any of the newer phones take a regular SIM card, Brian. The only phones I still have that take one are the Galaxy Discover and the Galaxy Nexus, both years old by now.

Okay, I found a micro sim in an old Koodo phone. I had this sim card active when I first started with Koodo. Can I use this same sim card for the new phone?

You're on prepaid right? Sadly, those SIM cards can only be used once. Postpaid cards can be reactivated within 90 days. Life's unfair :P

Yes prepaid. Can't believe it is so hard to find a card.

You can cut the SIM card you have with a pair of scissors.

You have to change your settings.
Go to top of this page > click on "Email & Notifications" under your name.
Then you can unchecked for the notification setting.

No worries buddy! You can easily cut your SIM card using a special hole puncher like tool that you can order online OR by downloading a template off Google and carefully cutting it yourself. I've done it before and it works fine! Cheers!

Although cutting it is one option (I do not really trust SIMs that have been cut - but that is my thought).

One thing that you may want to try is to use your old phone while you are waiting and then order a microSIM by talking to customer service.

Another possibility is that there is a store in your area that sells Koodo prepaid SIMs, even though it is not a Koodo kiosk....if you check in self serve it will show you places that are relatively close to you, even though they are not kiosks.
