I have 2 phones on my account and I am based in Nova Scotia. We were visiting Ontario and my spouse used her phone to call Nova Scotia from Ontario and on both calls we were charged long distance fees. Other long distance calls we made from Nova Scotia were free. Does anyone know if this is an error? Seems to me I should be able to call from anywhere in Canada with a Text and Talk Canada plan. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure it's airtime minutes you were charged or long distance? If long distance, it's an error. If airtime charges, that means you went over the 100 anytime minutes.

Nope, it was long distance charges. We had up to 300 minutes on the plan we were on and only used 125. I guess I will have to contact Customer service. I hope they don't charge me to sort it out.
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for replying Graham. If you don't mind, try to post back with an update on this for other customers that have same issue as you.

There shouldn't be a long distance charge if your plan is a Canada wide plan.
They won't charge you to sort out billing issues :)
*611 from your Koodo phone option 5 for customer service.
