I thought telus iphones worked with koodo without unlocking. You might want to call koodo and see what you can do before actually unlocking.
Make sure you put the sim in correctly also.

Make sure if it is a TELUS iPhone that you have the Koodo APN settings not the Telus ones. If it is a Rogers iPhone then you need to unlock it and then put the Koodo APN settings into the phone.

I think you have to do it through iTunes
Sorry I'm an Android guy personally so I'm just going from what I remember being said here. Search the forum or You Tube on how to change APN settings on iPhone & I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out.

Guys, the APN has zero affect when it comes to the phone connecting to the network. The APN is only needed for a mobile data connection.

You still need the APN settings to make the phone work as in Data yes but it's still needed ;-)

If you are on rogers or bell you will need to unlock your phone. To check go to settings>about>carrier.

The phone can only be locked to one carrier so it wouldn't be Rogers & Bell just one or the other.
You'll need to get it unlocked if you put your Koodo Sim card in and it doesn't work. You can try somewhere like Cellunlocker.Net or gsmliberty.com and buy an unlock from them.

Hi you can easily unlock your iphone4s by using remote unlock method. If you need remote unlocking service you can visit this site http://www.simpleunlocking.com/apple-... here you can get the service and unlock your iphone4s easily. After unlock your iphone4s you can easily swap to any other network.
