Ya it should work fine, you'll have to get it unlocked though if not already done.

Kid is correct but to clarify the tool you're using online it's examining the serial number for the phone to see if it's antenna supports Koodo's towers. Since Telus/Bell share towers (and Telus owns Koodo), the tool says the phone will work, but as Kid says you will need to get it unlocked as it's software will refuse any sim cards that are not Bell until it is unlocked.

I'm about to purchase a bell locked phone as well, I don't know anything about unlocking/jailbreaking phones. I just want to make sure that I'll have full data connection that comes with my Koodo plan once I unlock the htc one.

Yes you should be fine..However if your data doesn't work since it is a unlocked phone Koodo will not give tech support for that issue as they will tell you it's due to the unlocked phone,,But in the years i have worked for a cell company not many have that issue..but thought i'd warn ya all the same

Hi Anna,

Yes, you should be fine. You won't have to do any jailbreaking, just unlocking.

Cheers,

Peter

and when you unlock it you'll need to change APN settings for data to work
